Thea led the talented team of Boston Globe videographers and photographers who won 14 New England Emmy awards during her tenure. While at the Globe, she also directed video coverage of the Boston Marathon bombings, which were part of the Globe's entry for the Pulitzer Prize for breaking news.
In 2015 she was the editorial director of ViewFind, an ambitious visual storytelling platform for exceptional photojournalists around the world. She developed a global network of photographers, set the tone and direction of content, built and led the editorial team of photo editors and writers, curated content, spearheaded company outreach, and set strict standards for editorial quality. ViewFind has since ceased publication.
